ABOUT
Wildlife Management Sciences is an Australian-based environmental consultancy service by Dr. Benjamin Allen. Ben has been involved with wildlife management and research since he was a child, and has been employed in the industry, government and university sectors as a wildlife ecologist and manager, biodiversity conservationist, and wildlife research leader since 2005. He received his PhD from the University of Queensland and was Associate Professor (Wildlife Management) at the University of Southern Queensland before moving back into the private sector.
Located in south-east Queensland, Australia, Ben's applied focus is on investigating and developing practical solutions to a variety of complex wildlife management problems around Australia and internationally, typically in intensive cropping systems, extensive grazing systems, nature reserves, and peri-urban areas. Ben also has a strong passion for science communication, translation, extension, and training.
